Kevin White has spent over twenty years helping the Stevenson family build and develop its hospitality and real estate company. Since joining North Pacific Management as controller of the Heathman Hotel in 1985, White has stimulated substantial growth and diversification. The board promoted him from CFO, to president and CEO, in 2000. White graduated from Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in business and economics.

 

Brett Wilkerson

Brett Wilkerson began his career at the Red Lion Hotel Jantzen Beach in 1978 and worked his way up through several positions that culminated in the management of sales, marketing and catering for the Jantzen Beach and Columbia River Red Lion Hotels. At this point he was responsible for $45 million in revenue and supervised 30 managers. Wilkerson joined North Pacific Management when he was named General Manager of the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, Washington in 1997. He was later promoted to Vice President of Hotel Operations, responsible for all sales and marketing, facilities and rooms operations. In April of 2008 he was named President of North Pacific Management's new hospitality division.

 

Don Stanton

Don Stanton oversees the finance and accounting operations for all properties owned and managed by the Stevenson family. He began his business career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells and has been in the hospitality industry since 1985. Stanton worked for Red Lion Hotels for a total of 12 years, and was Controller for the Red Lion Hotel Jantzen Beach and soon after became Controller of the Doubletree Hotel Lloyd Center. Stanton joined North Pacific Management, and in 1998 was promoted to corporate controller. In 2002, he was named Chief Financial Officer for the company. Stanton graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Business Administration.

Daina Galster
Director of Sales Management

Daina Galster’s entire business career has been spent in the hospitality industry, including the operations, management, financial analysis, marketing and opening of an independent non-branded hotel. From 1988 to 1997, Galster held several positions in hotel operations and sales and services, including director of sales and marketing for the Red Lion Hotel Jantzen Beach and the Doubletree chains in Portland. Galster has been with the North Pacific team since 1997 and oversees all sales and marketing operations for the hospitality division of North Pacific Management. Galster holds a technical degree from Trend Business College, focused on sales management.

 

Daren Hamilton

Daren Hamilton directs the management teams of all the restaurant properties owned or managed by North Pacific Management. Prior to joining North Pacific, Hamilton was general manager at Lauro, in Portland, Oregon. Hamilton has spent time managing several Italian/Mediterranean restaurants in the Rose City - namely Serratto, Mingo, and Pazzo. He joined North Pacific in 2007.

 

Dex MacQuarrie

Dex MacQuarrie oversees all aspects of human resources for North Pacific Management. MacQuarrie began her career as an administrative manager at MACTEC, Inc., a consulting company in the engineering industry. She moved on to become vice president of human resources and facilities before joining North Pacific Management in 2004. MacQuarrie has a wide array of business experience including management, business law, accounting and contract negotiations.

 

Mike Daley

Mike Daley oversees the day to day operations of the managed Hotels and Restaurants for North Pacific Management. Mike joined North Pacific Management in 1997 as Director of Rooms Operations for The Heathman Lodge, and then was promoted to General Manager of the Radisson Hotel Portland Airport. Prior to joining North Pacific, Mike was with Red Lion and Doubletree Hotels for over nine years. During his almost 18 years of experience, Mike has held 10 different management positions in five different hotels across three states.
