Warren Bean is co-owner and the principal asset manager of North Pacific Management, Inc. He has been involved in all phases of development and operation of its hotel, commercial and industrial properties since he co-founded the company in 1984.

Born and raised in Yakima, Washington, Warren worked in the family cattle business. After graduation from college, Warren worked in sales management and construction. His growing interest in commercial real estate merged well with the Stevenson family’s desire to enter the real estate management business.

His outside interests are mainly centered around family activities with his wife of 32 years, Bernice Stevenson Bean, and his son and grandchildren. Warren holds a multi-engine instrument rated pilot’s license which enables him to travel easily between the family farm in Hubbard, Oregon and the log cabin resort he co-owns in Nimpo Lake, British Columbia.

Warren holds a business degree from the University of Denver. In addition to his duties at North Pacific Management, he serves on the Board of SDS Lumber Company, the original Stevenson family enterprise.

In 1997 he and Bernice founded the Walker L. Bean Foundation which provides charitable support to a variety of programs benefiting at-risk youth.

Kevin White has spent the last 28 years helping the Stevenson family build its hospitality and real estate company. He joined the company as Controller of the Heathman Hotel in 1985, and has helped the company grow and diversify ever since. He was promoted to President/CEO of the Company in 2000, and is now Chief Executive Officer and a shareholder.

Prior to joining the company, he worked for Evergreen Aviation beginning as an auditor, and moving up to Vice President of Finance. From there, he worked in various accounting and finance positions in the hospitality industry.

Kevin’s years with North Pacific have given him extensive experience in hospitality operations and management of commercial real estate holdings. As CEO he has been involved in all the company’s acquisitions which include hotels, restaurants and commercial properties. “During the downturn resulting from the overbuilt hospitality industry in Portland, we had a real opportunity to make a difference at some of our properties. We will continue to be competitive with aggressive sales and marketing efforts designed to increase our revenue growth.”

Kevin’s style is to manage through team building and good communication. “I like to build trust as we work with each other. I don’t like an environment where there are repercussions for saying what you think.”

Kevin graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife of 33 years, Donna, have two children and reside in Tigard, Oregon.

In 1978, 16-year-old Brett Wilkerson took his first job in a hotel, washing dishes at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach. By the time he was 30, he had worked his way through a succession of jobs with the Red Lion chain, finally managing the combined sales, marketing and catering for both the Jantzen Beach and Columbia River Red Lion hotels. He was responsible for $45 million in revenue and 30 managers.

In 1986 he joined North Pacific Management as General Manager of The Heathman Lodge in Vancouver. “I really care about people inside and outside of work. I wanted to see if a company could create a loyalty program based on a company culture that focused on customers. At The Heathman Lodge, we get to focus on customer service instead of red tape and forecasts.”

In November 2000 North Pacific rewarded his efforts by appointing him in as vice president of hotel operations, including sales and marketing, facilities and rooms. In March 2006, he was promoted again, to Senior Vice President, and took on the responsibilities of managing the company’s athletic clubs. In 2008 Brett became President of North Pacific Management, and a shareholder in the company.

Brett and his wife and two children still live in Vancouver, close to many lifelong friends and family.

Born and raised in Portland, Cindy joined North Pacific Management upon graduation from College in 1987, working in both the Property Management and Construction Departments.

She is responsible for managing over 550,000 square feet of commercial, retail, industrial and office space for the company, overseeing everything from leasing to janitorial, tenant build-outs to security.

Servicing our tenants is the top priority for Cindy. “Because we are locally owned and operated, we are able to handle maintenance requests on a 24 hour turnaround time. We are also available to our tenants 24 hours a day, seven days a week”.

North Pacific Management’s commercial properties are quite diversified and we are equally experienced in servicing our Class A office building tenants, and our retail and industrial tenants.

Cindy is a graduate of Oregon State University and is a licensed Property Manager with the State of Oregon.
