WARREN BEAN, CHAIRMAN
Warren Bean is co-owner and the principal asset manager of North Pacific Management, Inc. He has been involved in all phases of development and operation of its hotel, commercial and industrial properties since he co-founded the company in 1984.
Born and raised in Yakima, Washington, Warren worked in the family cattle business. After graduation from college, Warren worked in sales management and construction. His growing interest in commercial real estate merged well with the Stevenson family’s desire to enter the real estate management business.
His outside interests are mainly centered around family activities with his wife of 32 years, Bernice Stevenson Bean, and his son and grandchildren. Warren holds a multi-engine instrument rated pilot’s license which enables him to travel easily between the family farm in Hubbard, Oregon and the log cabin resort he co-owns in Nimpo Lake, British Columbia.
Warren holds a business degree from the University of Denver. In addition to his duties at North Pacific Management, he serves on the Board of SDS Lumber Company, the original Stevenson family enterprise.
In 1997 he and Bernice founded the Walker L. Bean Foundation which provides charitable support to a variety of programs benefiting at-risk youth.
